Building a table-top display for Intermatic to allow interactive involvement.
Working with Cairo Design Group, we designed a 3 ft. tall standing table-top display so a new Intermatic product could be demonstrated to tradeshow and vendor fairs to customers. The challenge was keeping the weight in the base so the display was sturdy enough to withstand a bit of jostling around. It was built out of a material similar to the weight of wood (¾" Sintra), but without the grain. Some applied acrylic panels, paint, and vinyl text and logos and we have a couple of working prototypes. We worked with Scott Sterchele at Acrylic and Dr. Graphx.
